090910 HTTG Jung Yunho's Thorough Self-Sacrifice Captures The Attention Of Viewer
@ 5:43 AM

Jung Yunho, the idol of the youth, has thoroughly sacrificed his image for laughs as he switches from being a singer to being an actor.

Jung Yunho, who worked hard to keep his charismatic image as the leader of TVXQ, has shown a completely different side of him in his debut drama 'Heading to the Ground' as simple, stupid and hot-tempered Cha Bong-goon who dons a chicken suit and hat and dances comically.

In the second episode of 'Heading to the Ground' which aired on the 10th, he acted out an almost one-man show by wearing a chicken suit and hat and dancing in front of a chicken restaurant as well as by singing on the streets.

This thorough sacrifice of image is receiving positive feedback from viewers. Viewers sated that, "Jung Yunho, who always looked so cool and suave, is cute when he lets go of his former image," "Jung Yunho's transformation is refreshing," and "He's going down the same road as Eric. I think he will succeed as an actor."

But there are still thoughts that there is too much strength going into his acting. As it is his first attempt at acting, he has still not grasped controlling the strong and weak parts in his acting. There are critiques who say is lacking 2% when it comes to emotional scenes.

In this episode, Jung Yunho takes his sister Byul-i to the hospital because she collapses. Byul-i starts to cry and tell him, "You're not playing soccer because of me. I don't want to be baggage. Start playing again." Jung Yunho had tears in his eyes as he said, "No, that's not true. Why would you say that?" He also acted out scenes in which he was deeply debating whether he should return to playing soccer or not.

Viewers stated, "I think he's still a bit lacking in emotional scenes, but I want to see how he progresses every episode," "Although there are some awkward parts, he is more stable than he was in the first episode."

American soccer player Robert Findley dumps girls to TVXQ
@ 5:31 AM
The hallyu wave is spreading like wildfire... The last people that you would think to be on the Sports Illustrated website just made it!

Every month, the online magazine asks athletes questions in a section called "The Pop Culture Grid". Among the questions asked were things the athletes ate that morning, favorite reality show and another was whats their favorite breakup song. And for American soccer player Robert Findley, he liked to dump chicks to "Kiss the Baby Sky" by our favorite boys, Tohoshinki.

I find this so random but yet so incredibly interesting... does anyone else wonder why TVXQ hasn't ventured into the American market yet? Do you think they would make it?

DBSK & 2PM May Not Perform At Dream Concert 2009
Thursday, September 10, 2009 @ 1:32 AM

Up to 15 artists including DBSK, 2PM, Big Bang, SNSD, MC Mong, Jewelry, Super, Junior, SHINee and 2NE1 were said to be performing at this year's Dream Concert in Korea. But after recent events, DBSK and 2PM have said that they are unsure whether or not they will be performing.

As you all may already know, DBSK's Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu, and Youngwoong Jaejoong are having some problems with their record label, SM Entertainment, regarding their salaries. A representative for DBSK has said, "We know that the expectations for Dream Concert 2009 were huge for the DBSK fans. However, resolving this case with SM amicably is our first priority, for the sake of the future expansion of the Korean music industry." and "We all hope that the boys will quickly reclaim their titles as the kings of K-Pop."

2PM, as you all know, is not faring well at the moment neither, with the resignation of OMG OUR JAEBEOM OPPA TT__TT their ex-leader Jaebeom. Jaebeom has already left for Seattle and was reported saying that he'd return after he studies music in the States. And with the need of a new leader for 2PM, JYPE has stated that all of 2PM's future activities have been canceled as of now and that nothing is certain for the boys as of yet.

Dream Concert will still take place as planned, although the lineup for this year is a bit unclear. Dream Concert 2009 will take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 10th from 6:00PM. Last year's Dream Concert was a mega success but that seems like a Distant Dream...

I'm not sure if I want to see 2PM perform at Dream Concert though, without Jaebeom. What do you guys think?

jaeboem leaves korea.!T_T
Tuesday, September 8, 2009 @ 6:10 AM

Former 2PM leader, Jaebeom...or I guess we should now say Jay Park, has left Korea. The fallen star left Korea on September 8th, 2009 on an afternoon flight at Incheon Airport with over 500 fans literally screaming, crying, and begging for him not to go.

Since the scandal broke out, much controversy has stirred up in the Korean and online community with hate and support forums popping up everywhere. Rumors had been spiraling that Jay was leaving 2PM but JYP announced that he would be staying with the group, leaving fans relieved, only to have the moment shortened by a guilt ridden Jay who announced he would be leaving the group to take responsibility as a leader and to no longer put the group through more trouble.

Korea reports blame mainly the online community, saying they took a small mistake and blew it out of proportion, pushing Jay over the limit and caused him to resign with their hate forums and blogs, although many have expressed their positive opinions about him. One netizen even said, "I am not a fan of 2PM but I am a fan of music. I admit what Jaebeom said was wrong but it is undeniable that the guy is super talented and thus he should be forgiven."

With Jaebeom leaving Korea and stepping down as leader, new rumors are spiraling that Junho will be taking over as leader of 2PM. How this will affect the group and its schedule is unclear but one thing is for sure; it will never be the same again.

Jaebeom reportedly arrives at 12:40PM PST in Seattle.

Many fans both in Korea and worldwide are in hysterics, and rumors have been flying off the roof. Though it's heartbreaking for many to see this talented leader leave, the dust has yet to settle and we are still waiting on further official reports from JYPE. Thus, no assumptions on 2PM and Jay should be made yet as no formal plans have been announced. We hope the best for his future endeavors, be it with 2PM or not. Stay tuned for further developments!

this should not happen.!!!!! andwe.!!!

He wrote in his official statement:

"I apologize for saying my last goodbye this way. I feel very sorry to everyone because of this situation and find it difficult to face everyone on stage again. I feel sorry and can only apologize to everyone, especially to all my fans that have given me so much love. I will officially resign from 2PM, today.
2PM members, I’m so sorry to all the members for not being capable of giving them strength and leaving such a burden on their shoulders as an elder and leader of the group. However, I ask and hope that everyone will give them more support and I apologize once again for everything."

his leaving korea.!!

at the airport many fans stopping him.. but what can we do.. it is his decision.!

2PM Fans "To block Jaebum's leave, lets all meet at the airport."

On the 8th, with the news that 2PM jaebum is leaving the group, fans have gone against this and are starting a protest. On the same day, 2PM's fanclub has asked 2PM's official fanclub to help sign a petition.

A spokesperson from 2PM's fanclub has said "Whatever Jay has wrote in the past and whatever heart he had back then, back then was the time when he was the most stressed." Also, said that "jaebum, differently from the outside was a weak kid at heart. Please dont forget and protect and also believe."

They also said, "It is planned for him to go back to America today. We were already planning to go, but everyone who supported and cheered them on at their performances, the love, we need to give him the strength, for the last time. We will be going quickly to the airport." They asked fans to meet at the airport in orderto stop jaebum leaving.

jaeboem calls it quits.!!!!
@ 6:03 AM
On the official 2PM fancafe, leader Jaebeom announced that he will be officially quitting 2PM. JYPE has just confirmed this is true.

This decision was made after his recent Myspace controversy was blown out of proportion. Jaebeom will be leaving Korea today at 6:30pm KST.

Jaebeom posted:
"Hello, I'm 2PM's Jaebeom.

I'm sorry for giving you my last greeting through this letter.
I think it will be hard for me to see you all on stage because of my sorry heart.

I'm really sorry to everyone, and I'm even more sorry to the fans who have shown me love.
From today, I will leave 2PM.

2PM boys, I'm really sorry to the boys and I'm sorry I couldn't be strong as a leader and a hyung and have to leave like this.
However, I hope you will be more cool and charming.

Again, I'm sorry.

2PM's Jaebeom recently posted that he will be quitting the group and returning home.

So what's to come of 2PM?

JYP Entertainment stated:
"It seems there will be issues with 2PM's future activities. For now, Jaebeom has stated that he wants to return to American as soon as possible. Because of Jaebeom's controversy, we have not made any decisions on 2PM's future activities."

2PM was supposed to make a comeback in October with their 2nd album, however due to Jaebeom's leave, nothing is certain as of yet. JYPE is still unsure of whether 2PM should be a 6-member group, or if they should recruit a new member. Consequently, JYPE also needs to choose a new leader for 2PM.
